Bear with me this morning as I remind myself of the ‘asking’ promises in the Bible.

Join me as I put my name before each scripture, as God has written this book to me.

ME   Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: Matthew 7:7

ME

ask for what you need and want
ask to be taught the right questions
ask to be answered
ask for the divine plan of your life to unfold through joy
ask politely
ask with passion
ask with a grateful heart and you will be heard  —author unknown

ME   Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him. Mathew 6:8

ME   Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. Matthew 18:19

ME  And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. Matthew 21:22

ME   If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

ME   And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the  Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:13-14

ME   Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. John 16:24

ME   Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory Ephesians 3:20-21a

The same John that wrote the  above wrote this also:

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1John 3:22

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. 1Jn 5:14 -15
