“There is no ongoing spiritual life without this process of letting go.
At the precise point where we refuse, growth stops.
If we hold tightly to anything given to us,
unwilling to let it go when the time comes to let it go
or unwilling to allow it to be used as the Giver means it to be used,
we stunt the growth of the soul.”     (Passion and Purity, p. 163-164)

Willing or unwilling isn’t this the key to our service to God. willing just the sound of the word seems cause pictures of openness, giving, freedom, generosity. Add the UN and everything stops.

Exodus 36:4-7  And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made; And they spake unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make. And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing. For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

Luke 6:38  Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Amplified – For with the measure you deal out [with the measure you use when you confer benefits on others], it will be measured back to you.
