But I trusted in, relied on, and was confident in You, O Lord; I said, You are my God. My times are in Your hands; . . . Psalm 31:14-15

In the second month the peachtree blooms
But not until the ninth the chrysanthemums—
So each must wait until his own time comes  Japanese proverb

O, for the grace to wait and watch for God!  His ‘set time’ will come. “Ye have need of patience”. Answers to prayer are delayed at times for the strengthening of our confidence in God. Abraham waited twenty=five years for the answer to the promise that a son would be given him. Daniel waited twenty days for the answer to a petition for the interpretation of a vision. The sisters of Lazarus waited some days for Jesus to answer their request concerning their brother and He answered it in such a different manner from that they had expected.

God’s set time will come. It will come quietly and gently, as a sunbeam stealing through an open window on a summer’s morn and a precious experience is ours that will be ours forever. Cowman
