Sunday our pastor brought a lesson on ‘What it means to know that I am a Christian’; that there has been a change in our lives and that we are bringing forth good fruit. Being a ‘Truth Seeker’ was a strong theme of the message. Seeking God with our whole heart, wanting truth more than any thing else in our lives, that pearl of great price. This morning I looked up the topic Seeking God in the Thompson chain reference Bible KJV and was so blessed to see that if I seek God – He will be found.

Deuteronomy 4:29 But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

Psalms 105:4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Hosea 10:12 Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.

Luke 11:9-10 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Acts 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

‘he be not far from every one of us’, all we have to do turn around, He is there.
