Another friend responded to June 18:

… I too struggle to accept our country’s administration, yet I pray for them and for our nation’s people….

I Timothy 2:1-3 says, “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour.” KJV Paul lived in a time and place with very wicked rulers, yet he still exhorted the saints to be thankful for their lives, and to pray for the rulers, and to live peaceably. This is the scripture I’m clinging to during these times.

God is still in control. In an extreme case, the Jews, due to their wickedness, were allowed to be taken captive by the Babylonians. But God still kept his people through those hard times. He will keep us too, come what may…

Even if it snows in Lebanon ….

Love is forgiving – two words and one word –

when one word “love is forgiving” …that is what it is.

Two words “love is for giving“– you don’t ask for anything back of it.

Matthew 7:12  Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. KJV
